Glenn, the banner ad that appears at the top of your page can cause one to incur weekly charges on one's cellphone if accidentally touched. Is that something you have allowed to be placed there or does it just show up on my Mexican iPhone?
I don't have any ads at the top, the right side has two car ads, one for Amazon & Quciken loan ad.
I have Amazon, Allstate Insurance and two for leasing a 2014 Prius via Antioch Toyota...
I was wondering what the problem was with the disk, was it the disk or the bearings?Just curious...
I had planned to just redo the bearings, but when I got the rotor off, I discovered that it was just barely past the recommended minimum thickness, so I decided to replace those while I was at it.
Escape From America, Southern Living, Amazon, Overstock Clearance and Frugal-RV-Travel ads on the right side. But nothing on the top. Everyone gets something different.
I don't mind the ads per se. It's that some of the ones I get here in Mexico are unscrupulous and sign you up for third party services on the cellphone simply by accidentally touching them.
AdBlock is blocking 7 ads on this page DoNotTrackMe is blocking 7 trackers on this pagei am using Chromeand only frugal rv is showing up
Among other ads, one on the side says: "Obama Reduces Amount Homeowners Owe!" Yippee! Free healthcare and now free or reduced homeownership!!!
Wow, I have missed so much, it's so good to see you and get up dated, I really enjoy your photos and stories. I didn't know you had down sized by the looks of it and I really enjoyed the article of the family with all the kids living and traveling in the RV, wild. Well it looks like i'm going to have to go back and start from where you bought the VW and find out how that came about, drive save, continued success your friend, Narcisse
About the ads: browsers save information about where you've been in many ways. Cookies are well known. Web beacons are on pages and in ads. Adobe Flash saves information about everywhere you have been and watched a video. Even if you use private browsing, web beacons and the Flash player will store information. Web pages can have readers that see where you have been and guess what your interests are by the information you bring to the new site. Then they serve ads that relate to your previous browsing history. I use Firefox on my GNU/Linux operating system. I use AdBlock Plus and DoNotTrackMe to thwart cookie collection and promulgation. They are available plug-ins or extensions in Firefox. I have the browser set to block pop-up ads too. The only ad I ever see at this site is the Frugal-rv-travel.com one. I suspect Glenn puts that one here as a permanent fixture.
We don’t need G to write this blog anymore. Here’s what these pictures mean. The long lost flywheel finally arrived in the mail today so rather than send it back I decided to put on the the thingy that connects to the wheel. Looks great and it will probably be great in the mud... mate.
